The CCS bunny strikes again. This will probably be something in a letter format. Sort of like Sophie's Word. See the more link for the bit.
Its still sketchy, but I think it'd be neat to see some letters about Nadeshiko's thoughts. Augh who knows. I'll edit the piece later.

"I should give Touya the old curtains I had made." Fujitaka said as he poked around the dusty attic. As he moved a box he found a small fabric wrapped package tied in string.
"What's this?" he asked as he sat down on a worn out ottoman. He blew the dust off the package and stared at the yellowed fabric. The next thing he knew he had untied the string and the fabric fell away to reveal a wooden laquered box. A simple river scene was inlaid into the box with mother of pearl and different colored wood. He rose the lid to reveal letters, each written on different paper and in their matching envelopes.
They were addressed to Sakura.
In Nadeshiko's handwriting.
...
Sakura stared at the box. Amidst the dusty smell and the curled brown sakura petals and flowers lay letters. Some on pink paper, some on parchment.
"I found them while I looked for some curtains for Touya's apartment." Fujitaka said. "I suppose they belong to you."
Sakura picked up the top letter. "They're from mother?" she asked.
Fujitaka smiled, "Yes." he set down a cup of tea and left the room.
Sakura stared at the letters. The handwriting was simple, a bit fancy but legible. They were different than her father's spidery writing. His characters looked complicated and his hiragana was to the point ending sharply. She had taken over writing on the white board when she couldn't read her father's handwriting and Touya had left for college.
She stared at her mother's handwriting. Three hiragana stared back at her in black ink. Simple strokes that were the last words of her mother.
....
Dear Sakura-chan,
You are sleeping in the basinette next to the window. The sakura flowers had just bloomed a few days before you came. Perhaps it was a sign? I find it hard to sleep because I end up staring at you as you sleep. You lay peacefully on your side, rosy cheeks, pale skin, and eyes that will one day be green. When you first opened your eyes they were a muddy brown green, but the doctor claimed that you would have beautiful green eyes when you grow up. I can't wait for the day your eyes turn green.
I suppose you want to know why I am writing letters while you are barely a week old. While modeling I met a model who always wrote in a journal. I asked her why she wrote so much and she told me it was because she wanted to record her life so that one day she could go back and reread what she had done when she forgot about the details. So I decided to do the same with you. I will write things down like letters and one day we will open these letters and read them together.
I know as I write this you're only a week old, but I already dream about the day you walk and talk. I think about the day you will grow up and become a beautiful young woman. I wonder what your wedding will be like and if you will have children. I said this to Fujitaka once over dinner and Touya said that you were too young to have a boyfriend. I laughed at Touya's comment. Your brother is already protective of you and you can't even support your own head.
There is so much I want to write down but I am feeling sleepy. I will write again, and soon.
Your mother,
Nadeshiko.
hmmm... snippet of Duet is up. Its work... its progress... and I finally got a plot for it.
