Things and things
I have a few things hanging on my cellphone, a pink iridescent strap that I call my "sparkle" strap. A Naruto leather, ninja headband strap (with awesome metal headband!), a silver strap with a green star (from Juri!), and two charms, both cats. ^^ I need to take some off. ~_~ Ahh well... the pink strap comes off. I really think its beat up anyways, and the sparkle is gone from it. Now... how do I get the charms to work the way they do. o_o In other news, I really have a good explanation for why I am not blogging on either blog. ^_^;; I work fulltime now, in corporate retail no less. Its rather strange, but hey, as my first job out I think I'm doing pretty well. =) So sorry for the slow posts and blippy entries. I'm rather tired from fulltime. ~_~ ![]()

Friday Five
1. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why? I suppose it'd be Shiina Ringo if you go by the most # of albums by artist. I really do love her work and have developed an appreciation for her construction of melodies. 2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why? Don't know. o.o J-lo I suppose... her music is rather bland. 3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person? Probably, much like Bjork, Shiina Ringo will probably do something like that. 4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show? I rarely go to concerts. 5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music? Considering I rarely use my mp3 player and I listen to CDs more often, I usually purchase albums I really like. *shrug* Went back to Ikea and picked up another 10 shelves, 1 cross-brace, and an extra bookcase end so I can make another 3' of shelving. I found my scanner does not fit in the 2' shelving space. Doh! I just know that I will use all the shelves. But now I have all the things I need to keep my room organized. I find that if I have drawers I tend to forget things exist, for me open shelving is probably the best bet. I will take a picture of the finished result. <3 Now I can have a single row of manga to a shelf and not have to wonder where my titles are. <3 ![]()

Friday Five
1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed? Its the same, its a very pleasant sort of name. I'm fond of the english pronunciation of it too.
I used to wish my name was something sorter than 9 letters, and I wanted to change it to something that sounded a little less like "Mitzy, Brittany, and Stephanie" since it sounded like they came from the "make your daughter cookie" book of the "Name your baby" book. But now I like the name, it has many variations that people call me. In the end its all good. 3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?) I was named Stephanie after a Nun, my dad wanted to name me Stephanie Lynn (which in my opinion sounds so much better than Stephanie Kay) he liked the name so much that Stephanie I was named. As for the middle name, my mom somehow insisted that my middle initial began with K because her first name began with K. So Lynn got vetoed and after much deliberating at the hospital, the doctor got exasperated and called me Kay. So in the end my mom, my dad, and my doctor named me Stephanie Kay. 4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why? I will probably name my daughter Jane. It is a timeless classic name that speaks of tradition and well... class. I was always fond of the name Jane. I would not mind naming my daughter Jordan. (In that I want to give her a retro funky name.) 5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it? Brief Analysis Your name of Stephanie gives you a very idealistic but passive outlook on life. (Hardly being confrontational and all.) You desire culture and all the refinements of life but you are inclined to live in your dreams. (Maybe but luckily I have rather simple dreams so they don't clash too much.) Although you would like to do many things, procrastination undermines your accomplishment and success in life. (Not really, I beat around the bush but when I get going I get going.) You do not like to create issues and will do anything to avoid a conflict. (Not really I am very confrontational.) Making decisions is difficult for you without the support and approval of others. (This is true unfortunately.) This name gives you a very sensitive nature, making you feel much that you do not understand. (Very true!) Your feelings are easily hurt, at which times you are inclined to withdraw and become uncommunicative. (Hardly, I bleed emotion so much I talk it out with people who are willing to listen.) Although you desire the friendship and association of others, you find it difficult to express your thoughts through the spoken word, (Not really *stares at communication degree.) and others find you hard to get to know. (Not at all!) It is much more natural for you to express your deeper thoughts in writing. Inner tension can deplete your physical vitality. Its not accurate at all... considering I am better at verbal communication. But that's what it is. I went to Ikea yesterday, I am now the proud owner of a bookcase system! Yes a system, the kind of system where you can customize your shelves around what you want. I bought 8 ft of the Ivar bookcase system, some hooks and hangers, a new comforter cover set, shoe rack, baskets for the shelves, and various other odds and ends (like a moving cart to put keys and purses and odds and ends in for daily use.) In the end I am really pleased with the way I spent my money, especially since I used their student rate! ![]()

To Meimi
I know I've never met you in person, but if you need ANY advice about San Francisco, do not hesitate to AIM me, I've lived here for 6 years. Besides, you like Nervous Venus, that's so cool since I rarely meet anybody that expresses an interest in that manga. The art is so weird so obviously the story is the only thing that should keep fans reading it. (I know I do >.>) The first thing you need if you are going to Jtown often is a fast pass (it sure beats the 1.25 scrounging). Inquire at the information desk, I think USF has a student rate, their fees underwrote a portion of the pass (so you won't have to pay the full $45) but I am not sure if that is still running. ^^;; I occassionally go depending on the day (hint: Wenesdays are shipping days, Weds nights are shelving nights, and Thurs early morning are when everything is laid out, rare magazines are laid out late Weds afternoon.) This is what I get for neglecting my own personal blog. (Blast work! I'll figure out something around that I suppose.) if I didn't have a presentation I'd write about my newfound hobby and about ebil plans (wait those are sekrit) about the 2nd Clamp panel, about Ichigo Mashimaro, Tsubasa, and XXXHolic, Bleach, and oh... a million other things. I really should work on putting my site back up. Good luck at USF. ![]()

Hahahahahaha
Hahahaha who cares about a Prada, Coach, Burberry purse when you got the Vivitix Bird purse~! XD And now... Friday 5! Done late. 1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country? Chicago. I saw Juri and Greg's wedding. ^^ 2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling? I walked around Macchu Picchu, met Llamas, and got light headed every time I tried to get to my hotel room when I was at Cuzco. 3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go? I'd take my bf to Japan, then Hong Kong, with a stop over in Korea, and then I'd go back to Europe to find that coffee shop with the kick ass donuts, then end up in Spain. <3 4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car? By plane, but trains were really fun, I'd travel by trains if they were nice. 5. What's the next place on your list to visit? Disneyland (again!), this time longer and more calmer. We didn't get to appreciate Disneyland as much as we wanted to or Chicago, I miss Chicago. ![]()

11 pm
Its so scary... 2-3 months ago I would have never faithfully gone to bed at 11 pm every night. Even on the weekends when I am with the bf, I am pretty much fading at about 11:30p. I wake up at 6:45 and fight the alarm for 1/2 hr and trudge off to shower. I figured out planning what to wear the next day cut down on lag time. ^__^ b Anyways its past my bedtime. x_X
