Auuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhhhhh! I'm trying really hard

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhhhhh! I'm trying really hard not to tear my hair out from this month's LaLa. Especially with the end of Toraware no Mi no Ue and this very bad chapter of KareKano. ^_^;;; These are random observations from skimming Asuka and LaLa 7. ^^

KareKano
Well... Tsubasa has fallen into a state of emotional depravity and fallen over in the snow from lack of Kazuma. ^^;;; Kazuma goes to see Tsubasa and *spoiler* says to Tsubasa "kimi o aishiterun da" to which Tsubasa answers ".........." Which I guess is a very clever answer from Masami Tsuda. ^^;;; I wish it would end the Kazuma angsting and torture. ^_^;;;; But its so sad that Kazuma gets rejected. T_T He tells her that he'd wait for her because she was his #1 and that he loved her and that one day she may see him as a man not as a brother.*spoiler*. So that was my loverly KareKano moment.

Toraware no Mi no Ue
It ended. I need to go back over the previous chapters but it has something to do with the curse and the scroll and Megumi and Suzuka. ^^;;; I don't get it, then again this manga was difficult to read from the start. ^^;;;

Pretear
Pretear is getting interesting, from Asuka 6 problems arose and Shin steps forward to let Himeno use his powers. She obliges and goes against Hayate's warnings (but then again Hayate warns all the time o_O). With the help of the other knights they are able to battle the latest "seed" monster. But this makes Shin disappear! Gou gets angry and Himeno puts the blame on herself. She believes that she killed Shin. She runs away from the knights and falls into the snow (which suddently began to fall and is now 3-4 inches deep o_O). Hayate looks for Himeno, Sasame does a tv broadcast thru Kei's internet hook up (I'm not going to even try to explain how that works o_O) and Hayate finds Himeno and tells her that its not her fault. ^^;;; But that something is happening and that she is needed to battle it. (Cut to Natsue-san ala Takako-style), the Awayuki residence is dead and Natsue san looks like the Evil Queen of Seeds (tm). She has everybody in that house in her clutches (or bound up in her endless miles of black hair...). The knights gather (sans Shin ;_;) and Mawata appears (shoeless) and she has bad news.

I also picked up some manga that I had ordered a while back. I finally have in my possession, Pretear vol 2. Needless to say its just wonderful all around. I have the last 3 chapters of this volume in Fantasy DX 7,8, and 9. But its so sparkly. I also picked up Angelic Layer 4 (Because Wizard was on the back cover and you know how much I love "..." characters). I also picked up Newtype 6 for various page reasons, one of them being that they have shots of Pretear anime. ^_^; It has a gorgeous poster of all the major Angels. (And Wizard!) And FunFun Factory I have been waiting for this manga since I saw the story in LaLa. Its so much cuter compiled! *^^* Emi and I determined that the fairy that follows Michiru around is the Keeki card. ^^;;

Fun Fun Factory

There is something to be said when a mangaka pokes fun at their own genre. Especially when its a series as cute as Fun Fun Factory. XD Fun Fun Factory (which is this blog's layout image btw Michiru-chan on the left and Chya-chan on the right). FFF is the story about a girl named Michiru that lives alone (her mother is a workaholic or a journalist that never goes home...). Michiru has no concept of dates. She forgets dates or just doesn't realize what they are. The start of the manga happens to be her birthday (isn't that a typical manga plot device, like DNAngel?) as she walks by Fairy Market she meets a guy and thinks "He's kind of cool" and then thinks he's weird b/c he's singing a song. Later, her friend Chya-chan takes her out to the new cafe Fun Fun Factory which turns out to be the place that Sonou-san works at (the cool guy that was singing the weird song). He recognizes her immediately and askes if she is Michiru and if its her birthday (which Michiru forgot). He gives her a dessert cup with poundcake and other cool things in it. While she eats it she sings the song that Sonou-san sang as he left Fairy Market.

Later after FFF she's walking and singing the song and suddently out of the sky a cake falls on her head and afterwards a wedding cake falls near her! The Bride and Groom cake toppers suddently have a life of their own and she runs from them and is saved by a guy with a low ponytail who asks if they're hers and she says "no way!" and he promptly eats them!

Turns out that Michiru ate something that was cursed and she now has to find ten other people that were there that ate the same ingredient. Each person has a different curse attached to that ingredient. ^^ Its really cute b/c it runs out Sonou-kun bought a book of cursed recipies from England and is using them at FFF! Michiru's curse is to find the 10 people and a fairy follows her around where ever she goes. For other its licking their skin b/c its sweet tasting or seeing pumpkins instead of people. ^^;; Its kind of weird.

Ironically this is the same little diddly that a Mahou Shoujo character sings in the series, Miraku Parreto (Miracle Parrot? o_O) This series is great. XD

If anybody, knows anything about the comic Anne Freaks, please please please mail me. It runs in Shounen Ace and its a beautiful story (in both plot and art). I actually found the offical mangaka's page! =D Its so cool XD All the color art for the color inserts since 1999. XD Its like Haruko Iidas page! On another note, the way the mangaka draws Yuki, she makes him look like an older Eriol. ^^ That's what sort of drew me to this story. As for the rest of the stuff running in Shounen Ace, its all very shounen. ^^;;;

Also running in Shounen Ace is Angelic Layer. Which happens to be the first chapter of vol 4 and the 3rd chapter of vol 4. Its got Oujirou in it! I can't express how cool Oujirou is.
